FAQ
What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology uses muscle testing to identify imbalances in the structural, biochemical, emotional and energetic systems. Muscle testing can identify and correct energy blockages within the meridian system. Kinesiology is a natural health system that combines muscle monitoring with the principles of Chinese medicine, chiropractic methods, nutrition and acupuncture. These methods help to assess energy flow and body function.
What does a kinesiologist do?
A Kinesiologist can gain instant access to your subconscious mind and access memories, beliefs, traumas, patterns and events that are stored within the body. We can keep unresolved emotions and traumas in a muscle, cell, organ, bone, energetic system and brain. A kinesiologist identifies ways to improve the human body’s performance by determining the factors that influence human movement. They identify the body’s healing needs and correct the energy using powerful scientific healing methods.
The essential principle of kinesiology is that the body has its healing abilities, and when it is in total balance, it heals on its own. But sometimes, the body needs a little assistance to achieve this state.
The kinesiologist enables this process by implementing various gentle yet powerful healing techniques to improve health, well-being and vitality.
Kinesiologists tap into energies that other modalities do not assess. They look beyond the symptoms and do not diagnose or treat named diseases.
What healing effect does Kinesiology have on your body?
The basic principles of Kinesiology are that the body has an innate healing system, and every muscle, tissue, organ, and bone is interconnected.
When the meridian system is functioning correctly, the energy around the organs is balanced. When the body is in a natural state of harmony, the entire body is flowing in perfect balance and healing all on its own. The healing effect it has on the body is profound and long-lasting.
What to expect during consultation?
In your initial consultation, you will be asked to fill in a medical record form, and you will have to disclose all your medical conditions and any operations or injuries that have occurred throughout your entire life.
You will need to provide a list of all medications and vitamins you are currently taking.
How will the procedure start?
Natalie will ask you to discuss any emotional traumas or life issues throughout your life. Natalie will also help you with any emotional and mental problems and your physical pain.
Once you have discussed all of your medical histories, Natalie will start the session by asking you to create a goal, something you wish to achieve from the session.
How are the results achieved?
For example, you come in suffering from severe lower back pain. You will make a goal that states, I am free of lower back pain. Natalie will balance your entire system to achieve this goal.
First, Natalie will do some pre-checks, using muscle testing to identify the underlying cause of her back pain. Sometimes the source of the back pain can be related to unresolved emotional issues, nutritional deficiency, blocked energy in a meridian, or a structural issue.
What professional techniques are generally used?
Natalie digs deep to identify the source of your pain. Once the problem is identified, Natalie uses various scientifically proven kinesiology techniques, which will benefit your body, emotional and mental health.
Natalie is trained in using the touch for a health system, so she may need to massage a reflex point gently, neurovascular point, neuro lymphatic point, or acupressure point to help balance the structural body. This entire process is very gentle and non-invasive. The healing effect all these Kinesiology techniques have on the body is profound.
How many sessions will I need?
Each person is very different, as your journey is unique. Depending on your circumstances, we will need to discuss your issues to identify and create a plan of action that will benefit your needs.
Generally speaking, I always recommend a follow-up session, and I recommend that six sessions which can be done fortnightly, monthly, or every two months, that will be of great benefit for you to gain the best results.
